Sadikshya Maharjan is 9 years old girl who lives with her mother, Chanta Munikar along with her eldest brother Manchit Maharjan at Nayabazar, Kathmandu. Shadikshya’s father was returned migrant worker. He was suffering from a neurological disease in which his body’s lower part from the hip was paralyzed. After being paralyzed for years, he left this world.  Her mother is a sole guardian of their small family. She works as a beautician and now working as a teacher of Nepal Bhasa in Oxford School. She earns $ 114.62 monthly. She had been responsible for the overall responsibilities of the house since her father’s illness and later his death. The family had been supporting eachother after facing economic, mental and emotional hardship

Sadikshya is the youngest child of her parents. She studies in grade 4 at Oxford Higher Secondary School, Nayabazar.   She is obedient and well mannered girl. She is outgoing and active and excellent in her studies too. She has been scoring Grade A/ A+ in all of her examination till date. She obeys her teachers. She is sincere and completes all her school works in time. She separates 2 hours for self studies and takes guidance from her mother.  She is responsible and she takes care of her health and personal hygiene herself.
