Roshani Kunwar is 14 years old girl who lives with her mother, Rajeshwori Kunwar in a single rented room at Nayabazar, Kathmandu. She is the only child of her parents. She studies in grade 7 at Oxford Higher Secondary School, Nayabazar. Roshni is raised by her mother alone, ever since her father lost in contact with them. She was affected by her family situation. Her maternal uncle provides financial support to the family sometimes, but he has his own family and children to look after. Roshni’s mother Rajeshwori Kumari is the only one supporting the family. She had been working in a garment factory and earned $69.74 -$ 92.99 monthly which is below poverty line. Now, she has started working in finance and collects money.

Roshni is very outgoing and active person. She understands her family problem and helps her mother in household works too. In her final examination of grade 6 she scored grade A. She is working hard and trying to improve her studies. She loves to dance and make drawings. In her free time Roshni watch TV, play with her friends from neighborhood.
